We are a small, independent local charity, offering a programme of practical support and equipment to address the challenges of sight loss.
The heart of our work is promoting the well-being and independence of blind & partially sighted people in Bury and surrounding areas.
We rely solely on grants, donations and local fundraising to maintain these services.

First Step: We are proud to be the commissioned Sensory Service for Visually Impaired on behalf of Bury MBC, providing Early Intervention and Rehabilitation to any resident in the borough with a non corrective eye condition. Simply call us to refer to this service.

Celebration Afternoon at The Masonic Hall. Monday 14th October 1.30pm-3.00pm.
Join us as we celebrate our achievements over 2023-24. The afternoon will start with music from the amazing Ukybob Ukulele Band of Bury, followed by tea and cake and the opportunity to chat and look around displays of activities and events. Tickets are £5.00 available from the Centre, or ring 0161 763 7014 to book a place.
Thank you to all who have purchased tickets for our forthcoming Quiz Night at Elton Liberal Club - Friday 18th October, 7 for 7.30pm start. The event is now sold out!
