Sensory Support for Sight Loss

As per the Care Act 2018, any adult with a non-corrective eye condition is entitled to support from their Local Authority.  On behalf of Bury Council, Bury Blind Society are proud to offer that support as their Sensory Team for Visually Impaired.  

You can access this service at any point of your sight loss journey.  By contacting us, we can offer guidance and the opportunity to meet one of our Early Intervention Team, either at the Centre, or visiting you in person to provide information and training on equipment and support to meet your needs.

Simply download and complete the attached Referral Form and return it to The Society by email, in person or by post.
